+25% HP (you only need 1) but you eat +50% food. The only one of the Shambler drops I find completely useless under all circumstances is Bottle. I often avoid Shamblers unless my team is both good against them (which is usually the case) but is also in good shape at the end of a mission. You might also want to get the achievement for obtaining all of them, which will require going through at least five Shamblers. make sure you don't sell them before getting the trinkets you want or you risk getting the junk trinket again. Once you have the trinkets you actually want, make sure you sell the rest (so you can loot and sell fresh trinkets for more profit).

The most common situation involves multiple altars and/or encountering a 0-light shambler beforehand (or afterwards).ĭefeating Shamblers will provide Ancestral trinkets, some of which are quite good - but sadly, just like all the other trinket tiers, only some are worth keeping. The Shambler - just like every other boss - can be countered via various setups, and if you intend to complete dungeons without torchlight, you would be wise to build teams that can handle Shamblers before you hit the Embark button.īear in mind that you can encounter several Shamblers within a single dungeon.
